Budweiser Budvar

Challenge:
Budweiser Budvar Dark wanted to do the opposite of all those happy beer commercials. Because life isn’t so happy and perfect all the time. They had a limited media budget, so every piece needed to stand out on its own.

Outcome:
Budweiser Budvar launched the B:DARK campaign, celebrating a dark beer for a dark mood. Because it’s ok if we’re not happy all the time. We wrote mainly for print, online and social. The work was awarded a Grand Prix, Gold and Bronze in the Art Directors Club, as well as a Golden Drum.

History of Beer

Challenge:
Celebrating their 120 year history of being the original beer, Budweiser Budvar wanted to create a campaign that spoke to their history and heritage of being uncompromisingly original.

Outcome:
We helped create the english versions of their “Original” and “No makes us what we are” campaigns, which won a Silver Effie and Bronze in the Art Directors Club.
